Arta Boley is a veteran American television news executive and producer. Active primarily throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Boley built a distinguished career managing high-profile broadcast newsrooms in major markets.
KMGH: Executive News Producer, News Director. Boley spent a significant portion of her career at Denver’s Channel 7. She worked as a newscast producer before briefly departing, later rejoining the station in 1982 to serve as its Executive News Producer. She also stepped into the role of News Director during her tenure.
KBTV / KUSA: In July 1976, she made a high-profile move across town, jumping to rival station Channel 9 to serve as a TV News Executive
WXYZ: TV News Executive Producer. Beyond the Denver market, Boley also expanded her broadcast portfolio to Michigan, where she served as a TV News Executive Producer for Detroit’s prominent WXYZ station.
