I went to the Medill School of Journalism with Lynda Solomon, where we became good friends. We lost track of each other within a few years, after our jobs and lives put us in different cities. I have just now learned of Lynda’s 2006 passing. I was googling her in an effort to get back in touch and am crushed to learn she is gone. Lynda was such a lovely, kind and perceptive person. I trust those who worked with her all those years ago at WXYZ knew and appreciated that.
