- TOM HAUFF, who worked as a news director in Orlando, Tampa, Milwaukee, and Tampa, died Thursday after a battle with esophageal cancer. Tom also worked in Detroit and spent seven years working for Medstar. He worked with old friend JOE ROVITTO at WISN-TV in Milwaukee, who kindly alerted me to Tom’s passing and sent along these thoughts about his friend.
