Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame Induction Speech by Bob Giles – 2011
“Big thanks to Eli Zaret and Ro Coppola for a masterful job of telling the story of Channel Four’s first 75 years of broadcasting. The two-hour documentary was just as much a history of Detroit as it was of the original ownership and transition from WWJ-TV to WDIV-TV in the late 70’s.” – Bob Giles / LinkedIn
Bob Giles writes, “So great tonight [October 9, 2021] to honor Bill Proctor’s 2020 induction into the Michigan Journalism’s Hall of Fame. He was inducted last year, without a formal dinner event. That changed tonight where he was honored along with the 2021 class of inductees. His dinner guest was an example of the success of his Seeking Justice organization.”
