WIS: Engineering, Video Tape
Fifth in my series of video clips I’m part of or edited from more than 20 years ago. This one is a promo for Carolina Today on WIS-TV from 1975. I appear in the promo to the right of Joe Pinner (WIS-TV‘s weatherman and kiddy show host), holding a pie. I was VERY tempted to put that pie right into Joe’s face, but I chose not to. Joe’s reaction was still funny as I and the other WIS-TV staff members poked and teased him at the end of the promo. The promo itself is really dull and low-key, but that’s how these things were done in those days at local stations. Enjoy!
